Synopsis

A powerful story of resilience, healing, and the triumph of love over trauma.

She Wore Blue is a punch-in-the-guts yet hopeful short drama, that explores fragmented memory and one woman’s experience of overcoming trauma. The film dances between two timelines; volatile fifteen-year-old Elsie who decides to keep her sexual assault a secret, and present-day Elsie, a young woman struggling with true intimacy in a new relationship. Through rapid eye movement therapy, she reclaims her body and rewrites her story.
