Director's Biography

I have worked in the Television Industry since 1994. Originally a sound recordist, my interest in the industry saw me quickly move into the areas of Lighting Camera Operator and Non Linear Editor.

My primary area of work over the past 25 years has been as Camera Operator and Non Linear Editor for Australian and USA Networks.

I have over 15 years experience as an Outside Broadcast Camera Operator both here in Australia and in the USA, for Channel 9, Fox Sports, Channel 10 and Global TV for sports including AFL, Rugby League, Cricket, Swimming, Boxing, and Motor Racing.

In 2006 I moved into the role of shooting Reality and Documentary Programs for Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, BBC, History Channel, TNT, Channel 7 Australia, and Lonely Planet.

I received recognition for my camera work on Animal Planet’s “Whale Wars” Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3 in the form of 3 Emmy Nominations for “Outstanding Cinematography in a non-fiction program”.
