Synopsis
Idyllic Entropy is an hour-long procedural crime drama. The show follows a young woman – Hazel Black - who is thrown into the world of murder by design. She must team up with an elite unit of international millennial agents and hunt a prolific psychopath who has devised an elaborate plan beginning and ending with her.
In a world not too far from our own, Hazel lives a mundane life before she falls into a predetermined one. A peak behind the curtain sees an international team and their individual storylines, becoming front and centre in a sadistic game. Showcasing the prevalence of random chance and devilish interventions, Idyllic Entropy follows the ever-connected lives of people from different countries and backgrounds. Coming together to catch criminals by any means necessary, sometimes personal agendas and moral trepidation makes for a tense snapshot of worlds colliding.
Each episode takes place in a different country. Every eight days, an innocent become a victim to murder. As each killer is revealed, a piece of the larger plot being orchestrated by The Unknown is brought out of the darkness. One step forward feels like two steps back as the lines of the law are muddled and Hazel and ALPHA must unravel the web of deceit that befalls them. As the team deciphers the tarot cards and messages left by the mysterious stalker, they learn The Unknown’s endgame. Solving each murder mystery brings them closer to the truth.
